Feeding the Hungry

Community Meals

For 15 years UUCH has collaborated with the Calvary Baptist Church to provide a Saturday hot meal to those in need in the Ashland street area.  Through volunteers from within the church and outside groups sponsored by a church member, the meal is prepared and served on the first and third Saturday of each month, year round  We serve anywhere from 30 to 70 individuals and families on any Saturday.  For information on volunteering or helping with the Community Meal program contact:  abbewertz@yahoo.com or kriscolton@hotmail.com
