Welcoming. Caring.
Faith. Community.

The UU Church of Haverhill is an open and vibrant church serving Haverhill, the Merrimack Valley and southern New Hampshire. We are known for inspiring and openhearted worship, friendly people, and being a force for good in the wider community.

Rooted in the progressive Protestant tradition, we take inspiration from many sources. We are people looking to live deeper lives, and to help heal and bless our world. We are a Welcoming Congregation, which means we fully welcome GBLTQ folks into the church and our leadership. This Sunday, January 20, at 10:30 am, “Strength in Diversity, Purpose in Unity,” Representative Andy Vargas preaching

This Sunday, as we honor the Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King Junior's enduring legacy, we are very proud to welcome Haverhill's own Andy Vargas to our pulpit. His sermon will help us look at how our society depends on regular citizens to work towards building a better world. Andy serves as State Representative for the 3rd Essex District (Haverhill). He previously served on the Haverhill City Council. Rep. Vargas is a champion for justice, economic empowerment and fostering a more inclusive democracy.
