Welcoming. Caring.
Faith. Community.

The UU Church of Haverhill is an open and vibrant church serving Haverhill, the Merrimack Valley and southern New Hampshire. We are known for inspiring and openhearted worship, friendly people, and being a force for good in the wider community.

Rooted in the progressive Protestant tradition, we take inspiration from many sources. We are people looking to live deeper lives, and to help heal and bless our world. We are a Welcoming Congregation, which means we fully welcome GBLTQ folks into the church and our leadership. Sunday, March 24: “Stepping Out of That Boat Called Fear,”
Rev. Frank Clarkson preaching

There’s so much fear around these days, you can catch it, like a cold, if you’re not careful. Many of us were taught, from an early age, to see the world through fearful eyes. Fear can be a powerful motivator. But at some point, you don’t want to live a fearful life anymore. You’re ready to step away from fear and take the hand that offers hope, and courage, and love. If you need this encouragement, we hope you’ll come to church this Sunday!
