Second Sunday Collection

On the Second Sunday of each month, UUCH donates the offertory to a local humanitarian cause or organization doing social service/justice work in the community.

July-December 2025: The Trevor Project

The Trevor Project is a nonprofit organization founded in 1998. Focused on suicide prevention efforts for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and questioning youth, they offer a toll-free telephone number where confidential assistance is provided by trained counselors.

Recipients are selected with input from the congregation, committees, and the Social Justice Committee.
